About Us
Maiduguri Capital School was established in 1988 with only three (3) pupils. Today, we have four thousand nine hundred and fifty (4,950) students and pupils. The school started with only three (3) class rooms but presently has a total of one hundred and thirty (130) class rooms with laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and four (4) ICT laboratories equipped with over one hundred and fifty (150) computers.
WHO WE ARE?
We are Maiduguri Capital School, the first among the category A schools in Borno state. We are located in a serene, hospitable and secure environment devoid of vehicular and industrial noises. We have made history as the school with the highest number of her students getting admissions and performing creditably well in all the various disciplines offered in higher institutions of learning in the country and beyond.

Our core mandate is to nurture a crop of highly competent and forward-looking generation of students with the requisite intuitive desire to succeed in a rapidly changing world. We understand that theoretical knowledge complemented with practical skills enable us to master our world and that is what we offer our students.

Events
During every academic session, The School undertakes a number of activities and events for entertainment and to enhance social and academic lives of her pupils/students.
This event comes up annually where our graduating students are send-forth and prizes are given to deserving students, pupils, teachers and supporting staff. During the event dignitaries from all walks of life are invited.
It is an annual event where parents/guardians are invited to the school to informally interact with teachers and caregivers on the academic achievements of their wards.
The concert is an occasion where pupils in the Nursery and primary sections display their latent talents to educate, entertain and inform invited guests with poetry, drama, cultural dance, science and technology.

School Debate
This is a weekly event where students in each year group debate topical issues in an academic setting. The program is aimed at improving the oral and oratorical skills including proficiency in English language of students.
Quiz Competion
This is a weekly event where students in each year group participate in inter-class quiz competition to improve their cognitive performance. prizes are given to outstanding participants.
MSSN/FCS preaching
This is a religious gathering for both Muslim and Christian faithful are indoctrinated in their faith so that they will grow up to become honest, loyal, obedient and morally upright citizens of the society.
School Fees Notification
The school gives a one month notice on resumption before school fee defaulters are removed from their classes. We therefore appeal to parents/guardians to settle their children/wards school fees on time.
